CONCEPT ☕️
Marie Giorgio approached me to create these 3 poster designs that should grab attention and prevent people from throwing food waste into the wrong trashcans. The city of Covina has strict laws against this and the church wants to do their part in keeping the city clean.
DESIGN ✍️
With complete creative freedom, I went for a bright consistent look of fun illustrations and bold typography.
For a touch of kindness and branding, the text was added near the bottom.
Small versions were created along with 18" x 24" posters. People are now aware of the different trashcans to throw different waste products in.
After I created these 3 poster sizes, I ordered them as laminated prints for multiple time use and mounted each of them on foam board with the proper hardware so they can be hung on the wall or leaned against the large trashcans.
Marie was pleased with the finished project.
